On the first day of Mr. Neat's Principals of Engineering class he intrroduced us to the class and explained some of the projects we do during the year and why he started the class and where he worked before.
On Tuesday, the second day of his class, he expalined his class syllables and told us the rules about the class.
On Wednesday Mr. Neat introduced us to the spaghetti challenge also known as the Wednesday challenge.
On Thursday we worked on the Wednesday challenge again.
On Friday Mr neat introduced us how to make our websites and the basics to making them.
On Monday and Tuesday of the second week of school we continued to work on the websites that Mr. Neat introduced us to the week before.On wednesy we worked on our spagehhti bridges again. Our two prototype bridges broke while testing them. Our team decided to make an extra long bridge completely drenched in glue. On Thusday we contined working on our websites and on Friday we put the finishing touches on our brand new bridge and put the glue on it and set it to dry.
Today in class we worked on our websites in the beginging of class. I finally finished all the other websites i was behind on. After we wer done working on the websites Dr. Neat
Today in class dr neat taught us how to post pictures on our website.
Today we kept on working on our spaghetti bridge and this time it actually kind of worked! My team and I decided to use the same design for our final bridge except with les lue of it for less flexability.

Today we put the finishing touches on our spaggehti bridges so we could be ready for tomorrows final challenge.I also got to use my new mouth gaurd today in football. It fit great.
Today was our competiton for the spaghetti challenge. My team lost. We didnt hold any water at all so we got a 0.

Today we went over google sketch up. We haven't gone on google sketch up in a while so DR. Neat decided it was time for a review. He told us to make a jenga block with exact dimensions of the block and then to put a picture of it in our website. He also taught us how to make components and how to copy and paste an iteam.

Today in class Dr. Neat told us to make a jengga block with its exact measuments and to make it a commponent and turn it nto a staircase. He called it the stairway to heaven. Here is a picture of mine.

Today was Wednesday and that means WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE! Todays challenge was to make a house or tower out of playing cards. My group was Matty, David and I. We sorta struggled in the beggining to make this bridge but towards the end we got the hang of it. My team and I came came in 3rd place in the end.
Today was my day to do the saftey test and learn about saftey so i could go in the work shop. I finished the test but not the cutting part because we didn't have enough time.
Today i din't do much because it was the JPL challenge presentation. We took a feild trip to the workshop because some of the teams projects didn't fit through the door. It was fun.
Today i went into the work shop to finish my cutting. I cut a peice of steel with the band saw for the first time. I was the closest one out of the 4 people to cut the most accurate.
Today Dr. Neat simply told us to just work on our websites because they're due on thursday!
Today is Wednesday so that means a new wednesday challenge! Today was a short day so we didn't have enough time to start the challenge but Mr. Miller told us to pick our teams. My team is going to me Me, Elizabeth, Mason, Evan, Jaden and malik. We are deffinantly going to win!
Today we got our straws to make our perfect 90 degree angel and we got in groups and worked on in. The winner is yet to be desided.

Today we spent a lot of our class time working on our websites and putting in our wednesday challenge form from last week. It took me a while to do this because i had trouble making it a PDF but in the end i got it and posted it and made it live.
Today was Wendesday and that meant a new Wednesday challenge. Todays challenge was to figue out how many peices of candy corn could fit on a regular sheet of paper. He gaave us 10 candy corns and the peice of paper and told us to calculate how many would fit.

Today was the JPL invention challenge group time to present and they did. We also took another feildtrip to the workshop again.
Today we Dr. Neat gave told us that soon we will have to be doing a bridge report for a famous bridge. He gave us an example of a power point and told us we would have to work in pairs and to think of who we wanted to work with.
Today Dr. Neat told us to put in the lego block sketch up into our websites and to catch up on anything else because he's grading on friday.
Today was wednesday and thats means a brand new Wendesday challenge. Todays challenge was that one team would make a capital letter E on a sketch up and another group would get the sketch up of the E that that team made.
Today is monday but I was absent because I went to San Fransisco and got sick over there so i couldnt go to school. I asked my friend edgar and he said that in class today weKevin taught us how to rotate stuff in sketch up.
Today the JPL invention challenge group gave a presentation on what happened in the semi-finals on Sunday. None f the teams made it to the finals but one of the teams won an award which was pretty cool. Maybe next year i can help to win.
Today is Wednesday and that means Wednesday Challenge.Todays challenge was to make the highest tower possible using only marshmallows, graham crackers, and pretzel sticks. Dr neat assigned teams and like last week, one team will make a sketch up of our tower then another team will have to build it off of our instructions and vise versa. Today we just had to make our sketch up and turn it in.
Today we built the other teams sketch up. Unfortunatlly we failed and could make it stand, Also today i saw my grandpa from Australia that I havnent seen in almost two years. It was really fun.
Today was a really relaxed day. We had a sub and we had the choice to either work on our websites or watch the Mythbusters. I decided to work on my website first so at the end i can watch the Mythbusters.
